A few survivors managed to seal this Calamity away using Key Spheres. Inside the tree, you will encounter the Tree Guardians, ancient beings who have been holding the Calamity at bay, waiting for a tamer strong enough to finish the fight.
Mechanically, the World Tree completely shifts the game’s difficulty scaling:
Level Cap Increase: The maximum player and Pal level is raised to 80.
High-Level Wilds: Even basic Pals spawn at level 70 or higher inside the barrier.
